Eazi Access Making a Difference

Eazi Access provided much needed donations to five non-profit organisations during 2020.

Most communities have been affected now more than ever since the outbreak of the global pandemic, Covid-19 earlier this year. As part of our drive to make a meaningful difference to the communities around us, we provided much needed donations to our five non-profit organisations during 2020.

Some might wonder why, even during tough financial times, we continue to make donations to these organisations. Eazi Access is passionate about supporting our communities and the money we donate is specifically allocated to this area of our business. These are not funds we can hold on to or save for future use. It is important that we continue to make these donations to meet our community and organisational obligations, ensuring sustainability.

New Jerusalem Children’s Home

The New Jerusalem Children’s Home is a place of safety for abused, abandoned, orphaned and vulnerable children. Since its establishment in September 2000, it has sheltered more than 1000 children, and Eazi Access has been a proud supporter of the centre for many years.

New Jerusalem Children’s Home has built a school and multipurpose area within its yard to provide a full Montessori primary education to all learners. The school accommodates a total of 180 pupils and our recent donation to the Home has gone towards child welfare focusing on educational requirements and feeding schemes.

Qualibooks Naledi

Qualibooks is an organisation that believes in ‘building our nation, page by page.’ It provides nearly 3000 curriculum-based fiction, non-fiction and reference titles to learners and also specialises in providing mobile libraries for use by schools and communities.

As a learning organisation, Eazi Access was excited to make this donation which allowed us to provide a mobile library to Noordwyk Primary School in Midrand. Our Midrand Sales team was on-site to do the handover to the school and their pupils who were overjoyed to receive this donation.

Oliver’s House

With roots firmly planted in the local community, Oliver’s House is committed to extending services to as many disadvantaged areas as possible in and around the East Rand. The organisation believes that all children have the right to a good quality education and a healthy environment in which to learn and are committed to providing a free and responsible service to the community.

From the classrooms of their Education and Computer training centre to the playground of their Children’s Care Centre: the increased demand for their services continues to stretch their limited resources.

Eazi Access’s donation supported the Oliver’s Village project which includes a community vegetable garden, early childhood development centre, soup kitchen and educational learning centre.

The Manger Care Centre

The Manger Care Centre provides protection and care services to vulnerable members of society. In addition to a food bank, soup kitchen, children’s home and family support programme, the centre focuses on the reintegration of homeless or unemployed individuals into the workplace. It also operates a major feeding scheme to early childhood development centres and other non-profit organisations in various centres and provinces. Our donation supports the above mentioned projects.

Wits Hospice

Hospice Wits is a reputable and established 40-year-old non-profit and public benefit organisation. Hospice provides care to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients and their families facing life-limiting illness. This is done with the aim of achieving the best quality of life for the patient by being involved from the moment of diagnosis, offering love, comfort and emotional support and care to them and their family.

Our contribution includes the care focus on meeting the needs of the whole person, addressing the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of each family.

Eazi Access is proud to have supported these incredible non-profit organisations ensuring sustainability within the communities we operate in, while we strive to continually make.
