Golden Spices, a proudly South African brand with over 38 years of trusted expertise in spice blends, is looking for a passionate and practical Product Demo Specialist with experience in the Meat Processing Industry to join our growing team.

This role combines hands-on product demonstrations, in-store promotions, and technical support for our range of spice blends and batch packs used in the meat industry for sausages, patties, salamis, and more.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Product Demonstrations & Training: Conduct live product demos with butchers, processors, and food manufacturers while equipping customers and sales teams with in-depth product knowledge.
• In-Store Development & Support: Develop and implement in-store product applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide practical support to ensure customer success.
• Product & Recipe Development: Collaborate with R&D to refine existing spice blends, assist in creating new meat processing solutions, and develop recipes showcasing our products’ versatility.
• Promotional Activities: Execute in-store promotions, customer engagement initiatives, and brand activations to boost visibility and sales.
• Product Ambassador: Represent Golden Spices at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings, helping build long-term customer relationships.
• Market Insights & Feedback: Gather customer insights to guide product improvements and innovations.

✅ Experience & Skills:

• Strong background in meat processing or meat industry (fresh and cooked products).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical or product-related issues.
• Knowledge of butchery operations, product requirements, customer needs, and costings.
• Hands-on experience using spice blends and batch packs in meat processing (sausages, patties, salamis, etc.)
• Confident communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
• Passionate about food innovation, trends, and delivering customer value.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and R&D.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer visits, training, and demonstrations.
